A $1.5-million-dollar Tiger Tanks-sponsored Under-20 Football Tournament is set to kick off in February next year and is expected to be used in the future for the preparation of national teams.

FIFA and Caricom have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) intending to promote sports integrity and social responsibility while furthering the development of football in the region.

Soon many of the nation’s top under 19 football teams will be able to get back on the football field to compete for the Next Level Consulting, Limited U19 Community Invitational Tournament 2021_22 Championship title. The tournament expects to kickoff on December 18th of this year, once the organizing committee receives requisite approvals from the Ministry of Health, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Ministry of Sport and the Normalization Committee of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA).

It is with sadness that the Veteran Footballers Foundation of T&T (VFFOTT) received news of the passing of former outstanding footballer, basketball player, soldier of the Regiment and VFFOTT member in good standing from inception, Mr. Benito Sombrano.
