Marcel Springer found the net four times to lead Under-16 division leaders Joe Pubic to a one sided 11-1 victory over Real Maracas in the NLCB Trinidad & Tobago National Youth League last Saturday.

Stephen Ealie scored a spectacular dipping free kick in the 11th minute to put Tunapuna Titans 1-0 up against Cap Off Youths in the Under-13 final of the National Youth League (NYL) on Sunday.

Thirty-six teams from 16 clubs in both Trinidad and Tobago will compete in three divisions for the 2012 edition of the newly-sponsored National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB) National Youth Football League, which kicks off tomorrow.

FC SANTA Rosa yesterday secured third place in the Under-13 division of the National Youth Football League when they defeated St Clair Coaching School 4-1 in a third/fourth place play-off at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Tunapuna.

FC Santa Rosa are both Under-15 and Under-17 National Youth League champions, while Tunapuna Titans are kings of the Under-13 division.

The Under-13, U-15 and U-17 third place playoffs and final matches of the National Youth League are scheduled to take place on August 6 and 7 at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya.

FC Santa Rosa triumphed in the Under-17 and Under-15 Divisions as the National Youth Football League ended with a triple-header, at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya on Sunday.

Kerdel Chairman’s first half double was sufficient in sealing Santa Rosa’s place in the final with a 2-1 win over 1976 FC Phoenix in the Under-17 division of the National Youth League, yesterday.
