Senior forward Jason Rudder finished his career with the game-winning goal in the 77th minute.
Senior midfielders Toric Robinson and Jason Rudder and redshirt junior back Michael Kane have been named to the NSCAA All-Atlantic Region men’s soccer team for the 2009 season. Rudder (Trinidad/Notre Dame) was named to the third team in the midfield and had five goals and three assists in his final season at East Stroudsburg University (ESU).
He was first team All-PSAC as a sophomore and represented the Warriors on the NCAA Northeast Regional All-Tournament team in the NCAA playoffs. He finished his career with 13 goals and nine assists.
ESU went 11-8-1 in 2009 and had at least 10 wins for the 26th time in 28 seasons under head coach Jerry Sheska, who finished the year with 411 career victories.
