THE HEMOPHILIA Awareness Youth Football Challenge (HAYFC) is the first annual seven-a-side football tournament for children under the age of 13.
The tournament, which is an opportunity at providing young and aspiring athletes a healthy and safe avenue where they could practise and showcase their skills on and off the playing field, will be held on March 28 at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium Training Field, Marabella.
The whole day sporting activity (9 am to 6 pm) will feature 16 of the best youth teams from all over Trinidad and Tobago.
Invitation is extended to football academies, coaching schools and youth teams from all over the country to vie for over $4,000 in cash, hampers, trophies and medals. Besides being a part of the most popular sport locally and internationally, the tournament offers children the opportunity to engage in a healthier lifestyle, improve friendship bonds, develop team spirit and enhance youth empowerment.
