THE Champion of Champions (COC) finals of the Full Gospel Churches Football League takes place today with a double-header at the Arima Velodrome.

The opening match will see the First Division Big 4 champions St. James Pentecostal meeting Big Four runners-up Khandahar Open Bible FC in the 1.45 p.m. First Division CoC final.

And at 3.45 p.m., Premier Division Big Four champions GEMS meet Curepe Amen in the Premier Division CoC final.

A week ago, the Big Four competition was completed in both divisions. GEMS beat Daybreak in their final match 3-0 to capture the Premier Division Big Four series.

Nicholas Smith, Kenwin Wilkinson, and Quincy Young contributed one goal apiece in their victory. GEMS, winners of Group B of the Premier Division, will oppose Group A winners Curepe Amen, who only finished bottom of the Big Four following a 2-2 draw with West End Pentecostal last Saturday.

Meanwhile, St James Pentecostal celebrated their return to the competition this year by winning their group in the First Division league competition, and had more reason to celebrate when they triumphed in the First Division Big Four series as well, following a 3-3 draw against Khandahar Open Bible FC last Saturday.

Both teams finished on the same number of points, but St James had a superior goal difference. Khandahar also won their group and will hope for a better result when the teams meet again today in the final.
