Quarry United emerged as winners of the San Francique United football competition taking the first prize of $1500.00 and trophy. The competition was held over a six-week period in August/September in which 14 teams participated. Matches were played at the Antillies Recreation Ground and the Doorbassa Trace Recreation Ground on weekends and on evenings.
This inaugural football competition saw excellent comradery among the teams with a high level of skill on display. Special thanks to all the supporters for their encouragement, all of the participating teams and Chelsea’s Sports for part sponsorship of the competition prizes.
