Joe Public FC and Westside Superstarz will face off in the blink/bmobile National Super League semi-finals on Sunday after wins over Defence Force and Eagles United respectively.

The "Eastern Lions" of Joe Public eased past the Army/Coast Guard unit 2-0 at home at Marvin Lee Stadium in Macoya, with Ishmael Daniel scoring the opener in the 35th, and Brent Antoine providing the insurance goal seven minutes from time.

Superstarz, playing at their St Anthony's College, Westmoorings base, had a 2-0 advantage after 68 minutes, given them by Jack Weedon and Akell Gilbert, before Nathan James got a consolation goal with a minute to go.

The other encounter played on the day saw Stokely Vale FC run past fellow Tobago side 1976 FC Phoenix 3-0, thanks to Krishawn Joseph's brace, and another goals from Dominic McDougall.

The fourth match, between WASA FC and FC Santa Rosa, has been rescheduled to Thursday at WASA's St Joseph Ground.

In the semi-finals, Joe Public and Superstarz face off from 6 p.m. at Hasely Crawford Stadium in the second match of a doubleheader, after Stokely Vale meet the winners between WASA and Santa Rosa at the same venue from 4 p.m.

There will also be a fifth and sixth place playoff, with Defence Force FC facing Eagles United, and Phoenix meeting the loser between WASA and Santa Rosa, with both matches set for 4 p.m. The venues for those contests have not yet been announced.
