A double from Stephon Ealie and solo items from Jabari Mayers and Dirrel Bullen gave Tunapuna Titans a 4-2 win over Santa Rosa in Group A of the Under-13 division of the National Youth League on Saturday.  The victory put the Titans two points behind Santa Rosa but they have two matches in hand while the opponents have completed the group fixtures. The Tunapuna youths kept a cool head after Tyrese Sampson gave Santa Rosa a sixth minute lead which lasted two minutes as Mayers drew his team level.

The T&T Football Federation launched its  revamp  National Youth League yesterday during a media conference held at Jaffa’s Restaurant, Queen’s Park Oval, Tragarete Road. Announced at the function, this year’s league will feature competition in the Under-13, Under-15 and Under-17 age groups and will be organised by All Sports Promotions. The league will run at a cost of $650,000 which is being provided by Fifa’s “Win in Concacaf with Concacaf” programme.
