In the Central Zone, at the Waterloo ground, Waterloo High School registered a huge 9-0 win over Chaguanas Senior Comprehensive.
Waterloo led 5-0 at the interval with goals Clifton Gopaul (16th & 36th), Andre Dindial (own goal 20th), Malcolm Nedd (23) and Jaeel Jeffrey (38th) to leave coach and former T&T striker Leonson Lewis with a big smile on his face.
Nedd added another to his name when he scored in the 88th minute. And former champions Presentation College came from behind to share the points with Marabella Secondary at Chaguanas.
Marabella took the lead in the 32nd minute when Dillon Massy scored inside the six-yard box during a goalmouth scrimmage.
They held on to the lead and were on the verge of taking maximum points, until the 89th minute, when ‘Pres’ striker Jeffrey Jones ran on to a beautiful through pass and sent a right-footer pass the Marabella custodian to share the spoils.
