The trio of Scarborough Secondary, Diego Martin Central and St Augustine Secondary were all crowned zonal champions when the BGTT/First Citizens Secondary Schools Football League Girls Championship Division League continued on Sunday.

Over in Tobago, Aaliyah Charles got a double to take her zonal league best tally to 18 goals as Scarborough earned a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Bishop’s High and with it, an unassailable 21 points tally from seven matches with one match left to play.

Bishop’s High took a 1-0 lead into the break through Alliyah Akili’s 30th minute opener, but Charles got Scarborough level in the 50th before she netted the decisive item in the 70th to set up a National “Big-Four” semifinal clash with the South Zone winner, Fyzabad/Pt Fortin East on Thursday at Mannie Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella from 3 pm.

In the day’s other match, Signal Hill crushed Speyside 7-1 to cement its hold on second spot with 15 points, three more than Mason Hall with a match left for both teams as well.

At St Mary’s College ground, Serpentine Road, St Clair, Digeo Martin Central eked out a 1-0 win over Bishop’s Anstey for its eighth win in nine matches, and 25 points, ten more than its opponent which has three matches to play, but can only reach 24 points. Diego Martin Central now meets East Zone winner, St Augustine in the other National "Big-Four" semifinal at Larry Gomes Stadium, Malabar from 3 pm.

In the East Zone, St Augustine went into its match against cellar-placed St George’s at Barataria needing a point, and came out 6-0 victors to end their six-match campaign with 13 points, two more than Bishop’s Anstey East.

Down South, the title could well be decided today at Naparima College Ground, Lewis Street, San Fernando, when Fyzabad (21 points) comes up against second placed Pt Fortin East which is three points behind, in the first of their two head-to-head clashes to end the zonal campaign.

On Sunday, Fyzabad racked up a seventh straight win by trouncing St Joseph Convent (San Fernando) 3-0 while Pt Fortin East kept its hopes alive by hammering San Fernando East 6-0. A win for Fyzabad will seal the crown ahead of their next match, while a draw result or Pt Fortin East, will set up an intriguing finish.
