It was a gift to the community as M&M Real Maracas, which in almost  miraculous fashion, took the second spot in the “Champions of Champions” Super League Qualifiers winning their final game 2-0 over Siparia Spurs on Saturday.

Keon Samuel netted a pair of goals as newly crowned Tobago Football Association Premier Division champions, St Clair Coaching School whipped Eagles United in their T&T Football Federation b-mobile National Super League Qualifying Competition opener yesterday.

Real Maracas grabbed the final spot for qualification into the bMobile Super Football League yesterday, after beating Siparia Spurs 2–0 on its home ground in Maracas.

Newly crowned Tobago Football Association Premier Division champions, St Clair Coaching School are fancied to secure one of the two promotions spot when the six-team T&T Football Federation National Super League Qualifying Competition kick off on Saturday with three matches.

Sheldon “Barber” Taylor scored a double as West Side Stars secured promotion to the bmobile National Super League with a 3-1 win over Real Maracas at Paragon Ground, Queen’s Park Savanna, yesterday. This, in the penultimate round of matches in the six-team T&T Football Federation National Super League Qualifying Tournament. After trailing to a 22nd-minute goal from Real Maracas striker David Lendor at the half, Stars used a six-minute blitz in the second-half to turn the match on its head.

TTEC continued to remain unbeaten in their successful 2010 campaign of the Bmobile National Super League when they edged WASA 1-0 in their Match Day 22 meeting on Sunday, the last day of scheduled games this season.

Kareem “Scoobie” Freitas and  Akell Gilbert netted first-half goals as Northern Football Association champions West Side Stars blanked Matura Re-United 2-0 for their third straight win in the T&T Football Federation National Super League Qualifying Tournament on Saturday.

Lejandro Williams scored a pair of goals as 1976 Angostura Phoenix edged M&M Harvard 3–2 to relegate the St James-based club from the bmobile National Super League on Sunday. Prior to kickoff at the Dibe Ground, Long Circular, Harvard needed a win over Phoenix to stay ahead of fellow Northern Football Association club, St Francois Nationals and keep alive its survival dreams. It seemed to be going according to script early on  for Harvard, when Eric Charles fired in the opening goal after seven minutes. But Williams hit back with a double in the 12th and 20th minutes for Phoenix to lead 2–1 at the interval. Dominique Kerr extended Phoenix’s lead to 3–1 in the 56th minute before Glen Walker netted in the 78th minute to pull Harvard with a goal at 3–2. That was as close as Harvard got though, as it joined fellow NFA club and neighbour Queen’s Park, and Eastern Football Association’s Valtrin FC as the three teams relegated ending a five-year run in the competition.
